County to buy jail monitoring system from local bidder
B&J Photo Inc of Findlay submitted the only bids for the Huron County jail CCTV system at 8297.50 for GBC cameras or 8674.50 for Sony cameras. Federal funds cover three quarters of the cost. installation is 2800 by Wilectric Inc. The system will monitor indoor bullpen areas not individual cells and aims to reduce vandalism.
