State Patrolmen seek the driver of a northbound car that struck a stopped vehicle on Route 50, 3.1 miles south of Norwalk, at 12:20 a.m. Alfred E. Leach III, 18, of New London, had run out of gas and was pushing his car off the road when the impact occurred.
The Senior Citizens Group in Norwalk, formed in 1963, has 45 members, most on limited incomes. Dues are $1, meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays at the Columbia Gas recreation room, and they hold three dinners yearly with a $100 annual United Fund contribution aiding expenses.
