School Must Hire Tutor for Boy Expelled by Juvenile Court
Collins Western Reserve schools must hire a tutor for a junior high student expelled by the juvenile court for disciplinary reasons. Judge Thomas Heydinger ruled a tutor is required by state law to aid a psychologically troubled student and keep him from ending up in welfare or the criminal system. The plan calls for $900 annually at $5 an hour for five hours weekly over 36 weeks, possibly extending to two years.
