Two Sites Studied For Norwalk Community Center
Norwalk Community Center Corp weighs two locations for a proposed civic center. One is a nine acre East Washington Street site owned by Bud Brady, the other a 33 acre Woodlawn tract owned by the LaConte Estate. Architect Thurman J. Peabody surveys both sites to pick the less costly to build. A decision is due before the November 6 ballot on raising city income tax to fund construction and operation.
