Four die in attempt at cheap drunk in Shelby
Four persons died and at least four others grew ill after drinking a homemade mixture of orange drink and methyl alcohol from jellied campstove fuel. Authorities said victims bought the fuel at a local station and strained it into a milk container before consuming it. Detective Larry Ledbetter described the device as a cheap drunken mix.
