Huron County Auto Club Votes Merger With Cleveland District

Directors of the Huron County Automobile Club and the Ohio Motorists Association agree to merge. A special meeting is set for December 11 to consider the plan. The merger will cut costs and expand services, including 30 trips annually and new protections for members.

Willard airport expansion tied to state aid package

Willard could gain a 497000 grant for airstrip extension to 75 feet by 4200 feet, expanding from 50 by 2600. City Manager Capelle noted larger planes and jets could land, boosting freight and passenger traffic and creating up to 208 jobs between Donnelly and the facility.
