A study by Dr. Jung Bay Ra of Longwood College in Farmville Virginia finds 44 percent of children ages 4 to 6 prefer television to their fathers while 20 percent choose television over their mothers. The results were similar in stable and broken homes, though children of working mothers tended to favor Mommy over TV more than others.
