Strongs and King Families Celebrate Anniversaries in Norwalk
Mr and Mrs Stanley Strong of 16 W Washington St observed their 50th wedding anniversary with an Open House Oct 22 hosted by daughters at the eldest’s home. Their children include Audrey Borgia Norma Jones Mary Ann Parish and Stan Strong of Oregon City Ore. They have 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and work history includes Norwalk City Street Dept 10 years and N W Railroad 30 years. Mrs Strong worked at J C Penney Co 20 years. Mr and Mrs Charles King Sr of 2 Spring St will mark 40th wedding anniversary with an open house at the American Legion Hall. They married Dec 3 1938 in Frostburg Md and have lived in Norwalk since 1955. They have 18 grandchildren. Estate planning seminar set for Thursday at 1 pm in the Huron County administration building led by Paul L Wright covering tax reform acts wills trusts gifts and ownership.
