Attorneys Clash Over Norwalk Bypass Land Valuation
In Huron County Common Pleas Court attorneys sparred over compensation for Klading family land to be taken for a Norwalk bypass right of way. The Kladings seek 100000 to 150000 dollars, while state attorney general officials cite around 20000 dollars. The case centers on 21 to 22 acres of a 100 to 103 acre tract, with the land split into western and eastern parcels and frontage losses affecting access. Judge Vetter instructed jurors to decide compensation for land and buildings, damages to the remainder, and a temporary construction easement. The jury planned a site viewing this afternoon.
