Passenger Alan Broadstreet, 21, of Ashtabula, was arrested on auto larceny charges. driver remains at large. Car reported stolen from New Philadelphia. Bureau of Criminal Investigation aid arrived.
Cleveland Mayor Carl B. Stokes was given a continuance until January 13 while a motion to quash the suit seeking to oust him from office for alleged malfeasance was denied. Roy F. Richards led the white supremacist group accusing him of misusing funds and withdrawing white police from Glenville during last July’s rioting.
