Local Plant Expansions Add Jobs at Landmark Foods and Automation
Landmark Foods expands its egg plant on Cleveland Road by 5900 square feet boosting output to about a million eggs daily and increasing local employment from 70 to 90. A separate Automation Equipment project at US 250 will create about 9 new jobs as a 100 by 150 foot facility rises opposite Batesville Casket Co. Additional industry activity includes Kuhlman Machinery sale to Karron Plastics and related manufacturing upgrades.
