City Seeks Volunteers To Aid Winter Rescue Efforts
Norwalk is seeking volunteers to rescue and dig out people if another severe winter storm hits. Disaster Coordinator Ralph Braker urges 18 year old volunteers with 4 wheel drive vehicles or snowmobiles to apply at city hall 38 Whittlesey Ave. He notes last year’s driver turnout was underused and aims to fix that by pre agreeing on liability or release forms and keeping a drivers list for city use.
