City Receives Downtown Plan for Norwalk
Norwalk’s Downtown Planning Committee Chairman Richard Mutz has received the first draft of the final plans. He plans a committee meeting next week but a date is not set. Partners Moskowitz and Alexander could not be reached for comment on final recommendations. Preliminary proposals include 279 new public parking spaces, a one way loop using Seminary and Monroe Streets, beautification through signs and repairs, and expansion of retail services.
