Bumper Beat- Andrew J Jeremay In Ohio Crash

Andrew J. Jeremay, 26, of Berlin Heights, was in fair condition after losing control of a pickup on Berlin Road Friday afternoon near Huron. A one car crash on Old State Road injured three passengers. driver John Burgess, 20, was cited for operating without due regard for safety. Other incidents include a Willard driver cited for failure to yield after a Town Line Road collision and a Wooster area whiplash incident involving several residents.

Disturbance at West End Sunoco Leads to Two Arrests

Two local women, Barbara A. Beer aged 18 and Laura Mae Smith aged 21, were cited for disorderly conduct after a disturbance at West End Sunoco on West Main Street over gas worth more than three dollars. They were held in the station until boyfriends paid, then released after paying the money. In a separate incident, Mitchell E. King, 42, of Riverview trailer park, was charged with disorderly conduct resisting arrest and assault amid a domestic quarrel and held briefly before posting bond.
