1800 Kids Go Walking In Rain For Norwalk Parade
Almost 1,800 youngsters joined Norwalk's Halloween parade despite heavy rain. Lions Club official Bob Burr said turnout rivaled last year as crowds filled West Main Street. Afterward younger children enjoyed cartons and a Cole gym dance for older youths. The Crystal Chandeliers performed after a death in the band family forced the swap. Prizes were awarded to top costumes across grades with bikes won in drawings.
