Norwalk Reservoirs Brimming After Heavy Spring Rains
Norwalk reports its three reservoirs are full following heavy spring rains. Memorial Lake levels were previously kept eight to ten inches below the spillway to prevent flooding along Norwalk Creek. A new well site on Harris Avenue has been drilled but not yet supplying water. The East Branch pump plan remains in limbo as officials monitor flows and flood control. Alan Swinger of Youngstown Ohio received life in prison for the shooting death of a coin shop operator in New Bedford Massachusetts.
