David A. Johnson 22 of 36 Jefferson St was arrested and charged with violating his probation on a drug conviction. He had been placed on five year probation after pleading guilty to possession of LSD in February. Johnson and 10 others were arrested in a Sandusky police raid. Regional Sewer District Plan Revealed For Erie County

A proposal to form a seven member Regional Authority to govern a county sewer district for Erie, Huron and parts of Lorain counties was unveiled by the Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce. The plan aims to remove politics from sewer decisions by allowing court appointed members to levy taxes and issue bonds with voter approval on taxation. The authority would take over existing debts, fund improvements, and establish an orderly regional sewer system serving Erie County and neighboring Vermilion and Milan areas.
