City records show building permits issued last month valued at 283950 dollars, nearly double April 1977’s 151779. Thirty six permits were granted versus 30 last year, with 210100 dollars for new construction and 73850 for repairs, including numerous specific projects such as new houses, detached garages, additions, and roof repairs across many addresses.
