File Charge In Shelby Slaying

Willard man Clint Harvey, 61, is charged with first degree murder in the Shelby slaying of Maude Mae McDonald found at her mother's home. Harvey remains in critical condition at Columbus University Hospital from gunshot wounds. Police say the weapon is a .38 revolver. no hearing date set while he recovers.

Tuition hike possible if state aid stays flat

Norwalk Truck Lines Sold to United Buckingham Pending IPCOK Approval

United Buckingham Freight Lines of Spokane Washington agrees to buy Norwalk Truck Lines and related subsidiaries from Nortruk Corporation. The deal hinges on Interstate Commerce Commission approval and would create a coast to coast firm with 23 states and four Canadian provinces served. Estimated annual revenue would exceed ninety million dollars for United Buckingham and about fifty million for Norwalk. Nixon tops GOP professionals for presidential nomination but neither he nor Romney is expected to win, according to Newsweek.

Dr. Alexander Chomyn of Lima State Hospital and Dr. Howard Barton of Tiffin State Hospital will testify at a Huron County Common Pleas hearing for Patricia Lawrence charged with first degree murder in the death of her 3 year old daughter. Nationwide Search for Young Feller

The nationwide search for Bruce Feller 17 son of Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Feller expanded as police traced possible sightings from Toledo to New York or Florida. Bruce ran away after being scolded for staying out late on Saturday night. He was last known in Gates Mills Ohio.
