Charter Panel Seeks Higher Mayor Salary and Charter Changes
The Charter Review Commission aims to finish a final charter proposal by May 22, rewriting planning and zoning and mayor salary sections. President Lendrum will draft a tentative plan and circulate it for member recommendations, then finalize before the May 22 meeting. They propose a full time mayor, a salary review before each election, and an independent audit if the state does not audit biennially.
