Plans to nearly double the Firelands Museum in Norwalk were announced at the 91st annual Firelands Historical Society meeting. Architect Thurman Peabody unveiled a two story south side expansion while curator James Overhuls spoke of endowment funds and new exhibits. The group approved pursuing the endowment and expansion, with future display space for a pre historic Indian exhibit and a basement relocation plan.
