Brenda Ann Wilson a 19 year old from Annadale Virginia prepares for her debut as a jockey in a Dover Delaware feature race on Wednesday. The event includes three other female jockeys and follows a Philadelphia Sunday where she enjoyed a large slice of pizza.
Adelbert Dickson says he acted to help his son Richard Dickinson a JFK High School senior after finding a suspicious substance in their home. Richard was arraigned and released without bail pending a Thursday hearing after admitting he bought the marijuana in Philadelphia.
Strong earthquakes shook southern Europe and the Middle East with hundreds fleeing in panic. Structures were damaged or destroyed but no immediate fatalities reported. Seismological Institute at Uppsala said a 7.0 quake occurred off the Saudi coast in the northern Red Sea.
