Norwalk High to Host Pre Registration for Incoming Freshmen
Parents of eighth graders planning to enter Norwalk High School this fall are invited to a pre registration and orientation meeting at the high school auditorium at 7 30 p m Tuesday. Captains Prepare For Cancer Drive In Huron County
The Huron County unit of the American Cancer Society held its first crusade training at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital with 33 captains and nearly 300 volunteers expected to canvass Norwalk and Norwalk Township. Harold Snyder chairs the county crusade with John Kaiser heading Norwalk. a long list of local chairmen and several Norwalk captains are named. A UPI report adds that Alabama’s Mon Valley area reports a mammoth sinkhole near Montevallo, possibly the nation’s largest.

Three Good Samaritans Save Willard Garage Fire
Mrs. George Hiltbrunner credits three unknown men in a pickup with pulling her smoking car from a burning three bay garage and extinguishing the fire with a garden hose before Willard firemen arrived. She did not know their names and asks them to contact her to receive thanks. The incident occurred five miles north of Willard on Ohio 61 last Tuesday.

Mrs Bistline Recovering At Elyria
Mrs Bistline 27 of rural Norwalk is recovering at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a March 5 traffic accident. Her legs arms and jaw were broken when a car driven by her husband struck a bridge abutment. Their two year old daughter Michelle is home in a walking cast.
