Ofield Patrick 41 of Monroeville RD 1 is charged with giving false information to the State Highway Patrol. This marks his fifth charge in 10 days while serving a 30 day jail term for contempt of court. He is accused of striking his wife with a shotgun and threatening her in the Scheid home.
Tokyo reports heavy earthquakes struck Peking and northern Communist China marking the third quake event this month. Kyodo said there was considerable damage near the epicenter, center location unknown, with earlier tremors in Singtai Hopei province causing building collapses but no casualties. The Tokyo Meteorological Agency measured one quake at magnitude six.
