Regional Testing Expands Service Through Ag Services Inc
The Huron County Dairy Service Unit formed twenty eight years ago to test bovine production, tuberculin and brucellosis, and educate via Extension. This week an area wide group named Ag Services Inc was organized by ten counties with Joe Shoop elected president and Wayne Dalton vice president. Burt Oehling named Northwest District manager to supervise production testing across ten counties while still testing some Huron herds. The change boosts county cooperation, tester benefits, and testing standards across about 9000 cows in the program.
