The city and state will resurfaced Route 20 from East Main Street to Old State Road. The city will pay about 3000 dollars, the state covering 65 percent of an estimated 7000 dollar project, marking the first state involvement in a Norwalk project since 1948.

Oil Found Near Collins Again

A casing was laid last week on an oil well on Sherman Hyde's DeRussey Road property near Collins. Hefner Company officials say the well may become a producer, with another nearby well on Harold Beck's land producing since December.
