Norwalk School Board approves small raise for teachers
The Norwalk Board of Education approved a new teachers contract with modest raises beginning 1979. Starting pay remains 9325 this year and rises to 9900 on January 1 1979. The agreement lowers duty days and drops an in-service day while keeping most terms. The district aims to remain competitive though 1980 may lag behind other districts.
