Little Miss Ohio Contest Sponsor Sought For Norwalk Girl
Norwalk youngster Teri Sue Smith 9 has been chosen by Our Little Miss Pageant for the Ohio event in Columbus July 15 17. The girl must secure a sponsor by Wednesday to cover about 150 dollars while wardrobe is donated by a local business. Teri Sue plans a Phyllis Diller impersonation and is in Maplehurst Elementary School fourth grade.

Pursued Driver Cited After Escape Ended in Crash
Walter S. Wright of Grand Rapids Michigan fled a pursuing state highway patrolman on U S 20 at 7 45 p m Saturday. His car veered off the pavement struck a marker post and slid on the gravel berm. Wright was not charged for the accident but cited for speeding.

Treated Here After Pike Crash Near Erie-Lorain Line
Three people received treatment for cuts after an Ohio Turnpike crash east of the Erie Lorain county line Saturday. Chester G. Maynard 51 of Elkhart Indiana his wife Ann 47 and daughter Audrey 17 were treated at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital. Lori Mickiewicz 15 of Cliffside Park New Jersey was examined for injuries.

Horse Destroyed After Car Strikes It Near Hartland Center
A horse on Crandall Road east of Hartland Center was hit by a car and had to be destroyed by a veterinarian. The driver Robert J. Tucker and three passengers were uninjured. The horse belonged to James Webster of Collins and was valued at 400 dollars.
