Dr. W. Robert Spettel Jr of Norwalk is named to the Ohio State Dental Board for a five year term by Gov. Gilligan. He lives in Cleveland with his wife Maureen and five children. He is an assistant clinical professor at Case Western Reserve and active in the Cleveland Dental Society. The term runs through April 1978.

West Brookfield man killed in Ohio Turnpike crash
Ronald Lee Puchalski aged 31 died on arrival at Sandusky Memorial Hospital after a single car crash ten miles west of Norwalk Sandusky interchange. His brother Vincent 19 drove the car and was treated for shock. The guardrail damaged the car and caused fatal injuries to Puchalski.
