Hello to Chimp at Holiday Hippodrome
A Jaycees holiday circus fundraiser drew 1 500 attendees to raise money for a community center. Hand Spinster performed with a trained chimp who previously appeared on the Ed Sullivan and Bozo shows. Wally McNutt sat with ventriloquist Floyd Bradbury and apologized to a nearby young spectator after a joking remark. Jaycee Robert Carleton, event chairman, said the program went smoothly.
