Ghrist Defends Grading System at Monroeville Meeting
Nearly 100 people packed the Board of Education room to discuss how EHOVE grades affect class rankings. EHOVE Supt. J. Creighton Ghrist and about 50 parents spoke as the board, after June 16, considered whether to lower EHOVE grades for all but certain data processing and electronics, a proposal opposed by many parents. The board took no action and aims to resolve the issue by fall.
