Riders Earn Honors At Posse Horse Show In Huron County
Mrs. Arthur Veleba of Sandusky named queen of the seventh annual Huron County Women's Sheriff's Posse Horse Show held at the county fairgrounds. Attendants are Mrs. Ray Blum and Mrs. Larry Leddick of Attica. Sheriff's Posse to appear in Lorain evening parade July 1. Winners include Halter Ponies Jane Hutchison, Shay Geer. Chuck Graft. Phyllis O’Riely. Wilma Graft. Tom Hines. Don Denger. Julie Gahr. Paula Jamison. and many others with horse names in parentheses. Event featured horsemanship, Cloverleaf Barrels, and various open classes with numerous local competitors from Willard, Norwalk, Vermilion, Milan, and surrounding towns.
