Judge Rejects Injunction Over Ohio Stadium Turf
Common Pleas Court Judge Allen Whiteside ruled the turf issue at Ohio Stadium a real and present emergency and denied a injunction against completing turf contracts. A June 29 hearing will address remaining suit details. OSU had awarded contracts to Monsanto and Marble Cliff Quarries for turf installation, funded by donations including a $300,000 contribution from Lou Fisher.
