Mayor Clayton C. Lord said Monroeville residents and businesses may face a four to five percent increase in fire insurance within 90 days after an Insurance Services Office report showed insufficient water for certain fires. The city has only one overhead tank and declined to accept a local industry offer to build another. Sprinklered buildings may be spared. The council will discuss the report at its next meeting.
