Perry to Rangers trade linked with Brinkman sale

Cleveland veteran Gaylord Perry was expected to be traded to the Texas Rangers, who earlier sold Eddie Brinkman to the New York Yankees. The Indians would receive Jim Bibby, Jackie Brown, and one or two minor leaguers or money in return.

Pressure grows on Douglas over health at Supreme Court
