Three Hurt In Pike Patrol Truck Crash On Wet Pavement

State troopers report Bowen lost control of a state truck on wet pavement and clipped Gladys Osborn’s car on Route 250 at 10 50 a m causing minor damage to both vehicles. Three Swanton family members were treated at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital after a two car Columbus Turnpike collision.

Church group begins microfilming Huron County records

Vernon Saunders of the Genealogical Society finishes microfilming Huron County Probate Court records and moves to Wood County. The project, begun in 1938 and expanded after 1946, will store films in Salt Lake City tunnels and supply free copies to Ohio and local archives.
