Car hits ditch after stop-sign violation near Norwalk
John Van Hyning of 1880 Woodlawn Ave was charged with failure to stop at a Y intersection on South Norwalk Road and Greenwich Milan Townline Road when his eastbound car slid off the road. Passengers Dennis P. Witter and Lou Ann Jennings were uninjured. Other incidents included a turning truck striking a car on Ohio 601 near Norwalk and a rear-end collision on East Monroe Street.
