Arrest Made In Drug Raid In Norwalk
A 26 year old Norwalk man was arrested Friday night during a southside apartment raid by Norwalk police. He faces possession of drugs charges and is held in Huron County Jail. Amphetamine was found and sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing. Eight officers were involved. three hours on scene. six adults and three children present.

Driver Of School Bus Cited In Milan Collision
A Berlin Milan School bus driver Fern C Edwards 56 was cited for failure to yield after a 3:34 p.m. crash at U S 250 and Williams Street. The bus was empty. Car driver Thomas Lee Jones 36 and passenger Shirley Jones 31 of Ashland were involved with injuries treated at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital.

Involuntary Streaker Spooks Lorain County Turnpike
A Lorain man and his girlfriend parked by a pond in Lorain County near the Ohio Turnpike when four men approached and made threats. The man fled in panic losing his pants and streaked toward the turnpike where he flagged a car. Taken to Lorain Exit and sheriff’s office, he recounted the event. A deputy escorted him back to his car where the girlfriend remained. Turnpike patrol later described it as a streak from the waist down.

Smoke Bomb Closes Monroeville Tavern
Three young men allegedly tossed a smoke bomb into Windy's Gin Mill on Main Street Friday evening. Police say the device was extinguished after being thrown out the back door. no injuries were reported and the bar closed due to smoke damage. Investigation ongoing.

Indicted on Bad Check Charge in Huron County
Paul Edwards of Wellston has been indicted on a bad check charge by a Huron County grand jury and pleaded not guilty at arraignment in Common Pleas Court Tuesday. He allegedly wrote a 662.52 dollar check to Lay Mor Manufacturing Co. Wakeman while funds were insufficient. The check drew on the Dutchess Bar and Restaurant account at Milton Baking Co. in Wellston on Oct. 15.
