Ohio Personal Income Up 7 Percent in May
Ohio personal income rose 7 percent to 47.4 million in May. For the first five months of 1972 the gain also stood at 7 percent. Payrolls for production workers increased 4 percent May to May and 4 percent for the five months. Ohio cities mostly posted payroll gains with Cincinnati down 1 percent. Construction payrolls fell 8 percent year over year, while mining and quarrying rose 14 percent May over May and fell 11 percent for the five months.
