Fingerprinting held man identified after dinnerware prints found
In Fairfield California UPI reports a detainee known as John Doe Galt who refused fingerprinting was identified as Robert William Mayer 24 of Ohio after jail prints were recovered from dinnerware. Mayer had been jailed on hitchhiking charges since June 3 and faces a habeas corpus hearing set for August 8.
