Norwalk Residents React To Moon Walk Telecast
Norwalk residents shared mixed views after watching the Apollo 11 moon walk on television. Some watched off and on from 3 p.m. to late night while others viewed continuously, noting the picture quality and the astronauts look as if from science fiction. A Marine hero, Major Steven Pless, was reported killed in Pensacola, Florida after a motorcycle accident.
