William John Porter 79 died at Sandusky Good Samaritan Hospital after months of declining health. He lived with the Roy Heading family in Mitiwanga, former Fairfield resident, president of Porter Manufacturing Co. Cincinnati. Survived by son Walter and seven great grandchildren. services at Hinman and Webb funeral homes with Arlington Cemetery burial.
Livestock: Cattle market steady with primes at 31.50 to 32.50, calves 25, hogs 25.25 to 25.75 for 200–220 lb and 23.50 to 25.50 for 240–280 lb, sows 16.25 to 18.50, sheep and lambs steady with spring lambs 28 to 29, ewes 7 to 11.
