Multiple Auto Crashes Reported Across County Roads
A series of vehicle incidents from Saturday night to Sunday involved drivers across Sher man-Norwich Road Highway 250 Rte 113 and E Main Street. Notable cases include Jonah Bolen 24 released after facial lacerations and a failure to drive on the right. Erwin Fontz 41 cited for improper backing in a rear-end collision. Dale Shepard 40 bruised after leaving the road. Lulu M Buchanan 71 cited for failure to yield in a U turn. Rob ert Schnell 16 cited for failing to grant right of way. Michael Roth 16 charged in juvenile court for improper passing after a scooter collision. Madalyn Kovacs 32 cited for improper start after a parking lot crash. Local hospitals treated several injured passengers and drivers.

Pike Traveler Dies After Heart Attack on Ohio Turnpike
Edward J. Mockler of Indian Rocks Beach Florida 66 suffered a heart attack while westbound on the Ohio Turnpike near the Norwalk Sandusky Interchange. He died en route to Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital. Survived by widow Essse a son Edward and two grandchildren. Body sent to Sheldon Funeral Home Chicago for services.

Woman Dies in two car crash near Wigel Road
A Sunday afternoon two car collision on Mason Road near Wigel Road left one dead and six others injured at the scene. Mrs Stella Ballard 73 of Norwalk died on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital the coroner citing a heart condition. Angelo Legando 47 of Huron suffered a leg issue but was cited for failure to yield as his car collided with Joseph Cambria 35 of Lorain and passengers including Hilda Cambria 32 Lorain were treated and released. Seven others from both cars were treated and released at the hospital. Ballard a native of Big Springs had lived in Norwalk 44 years and was active in church and choir. Funeral arrangements set with Kubach Smith Funeral Home and First Methodist Church with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
