Huron County Pony Breeders promote better ponies and showings
The Pony Breeders Association formed in January 1964 to boost interest in ponies, improve breeding, and provide activities for members. About 30 participants from diverse professions join to show, pull, or ride ponies, with members winning several Ohio honors. The group held a May show and sale at the fairgrounds and plans future events including a chicken barbecue and Christmas party. Meetings are the third Saturday monthly, open to all.
