No Quorum Forces Cancelled Village Meeting
New London village meeting canceled due to vacation illness and personal reasons as three councilmen attended but failed to reach a quorum. Mayor Golding noted a special session could be called if urgent votes are needed before the next regular meeting on July 15. A work session with the Board of Public Affairs and others is set for July 10 to discuss village finances and the reservoir.

June Construction Permits Total $105 300 in Norwalk
June activity in Norwalk issued 16 building permits with total construction and repair value at 105 300. Mayor Harold Finch told the City Council Tuesday night. One industrial permit went to Phil Leak at 95 Old State Road for 30 000. A new house permit was granted to Frank Bagley of 17 Garcia Drive for 34 900. A garage repair for Ray Robinson at 2 Glover Street totaled 2 000.
