Ex Mayor Wins Rate Change in Village Electricity Billing
Kenneth G. Salisbury, a former village mayor, won a rate change from commercial to residential for village electricity, effective in March, based on his statement that he no longer sells pottery from 53 N Ridge St. The Board also approved a new joint-use pole agreement with Northern Ohio Telephone Co. and discussed sewer repairs, a safety device for the water tower ladder, and water line leak responsibilities. It voted to buy an $790 machine to make address plates for Addressograph equipment, to be used for utility and possibly income tax billings. Norwalk officials plan talks with surrounding townships on ambulance and fire service contracts, with terms to be set before a joint meeting.
