Old Traffic Charge May Be Settled
A 142 year old traffic case may be settled in Mayor's Court tonight. Haskell A. Charles once of Ft. Wayne Indiana was fined 15 dollars for speeding July 15 1967 and did not pay. Capt. Henry Landoll tracked Charles to Sandusky where he posted a 32 dollar appearance bond for tonight's hearing.

Shelby man ordered to appear in Mayor's Court on shoplifting charge
Richard S. Gwirtz 38 was told to appear tonight after Gregory Hughes Kroger manager filed a shoplifting complaint. Gwirtz allegedly tried to steal two luncheon meat packages and one cheese package, according to police.

Police investigating a gasoline theft after Herman Stepp reports a missing gasoline credit card from his truck. A witness, Dave Johnson, saw a prowler near his Jefferson Street home and both suspects and a five gallon can and garden hose were found in the 33 Jefferson area. The items are typical tools used by gasoline thieves.
