Planners Discuss Rezoning and City Zoning Concepts
Norwalk planning officials considered two apartment rezoning requests for two-acre Grand Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue sites. Tracht and Hallmar seek multi family residential designations, with Feb 11 set as a key decision date. The council may hear a 20 acre annex property and a Zeller parcel on Feb 11 or 18, amid resident concerns and a possible K Mart site. Stratton urged mixed use zoning with performance standards, while some commissioners questioned lot by lot zoning and code bottlenecks.
