Lesley D. Sheppard 21 of New London fined 100 dollars plus costs and three days in jail. Lonnie Barnett 39 of Willard fined 200 dollars and three days in jail with 30 day license suspension and costs. James H. Wrath 21 of Monroeville fined and three days jailed.
The Red Cross collected 212 units of blood in Norwalk on Monday. Local groups supplied food and milk for volunteers, with many residents listed as blood donors including Elton Huston eight gallons, Duane Sway seven gallons, and several others from Norwalk and nearby towns.

O W Rothel Norwalk plant manager for Columbia Gas of Ohio Lake Erie District will retire Feb 1 after 40 years. He started with the company in 1935 in Berea and earned a BA from Baldwin Wallace. Born in North Eaton he taught at Strongsville High School before joining the gas firm. He and wife Leora reside at 31 Southgate Dr with a daughter and a son.
Dr. James G. Ryder, Norwalk Board of Education member and veterinarian, elected president of the EHOVE Joint Vocational School Board. Ryder, 48, serves Norwalk on the nine-member panel, succeeds Alan Lindsey of Huron after nine years on the board.
Forty dairy cows owned by Roy F. Palm and Sons of North Fairfield averaged 12 471 pounds of milk and 508 pounds of butterfat over a 305 day test. The results were announced by the National Ayrshire Breeders Association located in Brandon VI.
Willard city council decides to pursue legal action to collect 131 delinquent ambulance bills from 1973 and 1974. 1973 totals include 162 runs at 30 dollars each with 972.60 unpaid. 1974 shows 97 unpaid bills amounting to 2820. Council to cite five or six oldest debts if needed.
