Dog Chases Schoolgirl. Owner Agrees to Surrender Pet
Benedict School pupil Jean Newland was chased by a large dog on Benedict Avenue. She fell and skinned a knee as the dog frightened her. Norwalk man Patrick Clark, owner of the dog, was warned he would be charged with permitting a dog to run loose and he decided to give up the animal.
